F*** off. If one does not answers its cause they don't want to talk to you ignorant bastards. Who says that a person must answer their phone? Guess what folks you control who you talk to not the other way around. Just cause your phone rings does not mean you are under any law or compulsion to answer it. If they want to talk to you, and you don't want to talk to them, that is their problem, not yours. You have the power, you have the control.

Same thing.  They alternate between toll free and local NXX numbers but always with a message and no one to speak to.  I owe no one but someone did who owned the cell number previously, so there is an old debt tied to my number.  Since you speak to a machine, you cant clear the issue and since you cant reach a live body cause they use a chintzy dialer you have to put up with the nuisance.

This number called me for the first time yesterday, just once, I didn't answer because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know (my perogative!).  Today the number has called four times - already really annoying.  I don't have any outstanding debts so I have no clue why a collection agency would feel the need to call me, or how they would have gotten my unlisted cell phone number.  Might have to answer this one at some point and tell them to go poke sand...
