This guy called and booked an appointment with me and then didn't show up.

I too just received a telephone call from (604) 484-3999, the woman on the other end was making all sorts of accusations against me specifically, yet I had no idea who she was or what she was talking about.  Obviously this misguided female had all her information but had the wrong person.  I simply hung up.  I really wasn't impressed with her violent behaviours.With regard to anyone getting calls from this number or any other suspicious number, take as much information as you are able to, get them to repeat themselves if you can.  Make sure to note what you can as you are on the call or immediately after the call has ended.  When the call terminates, press *57 which will become a traced call that goes to your provider.  After three times of pressing the *57, the police then become involved to investigating to possibly charging the person(s) involved.Take care not to be scammed by these type of people.  The only other thing is, is to contact the police directly.

Got a call from a lady saying she was with ADT security and if I have a security system already installed.

Tried to call back but "we're sorry, this number is not in service" routine.

We have been receiving fraudulent notices from this company claiming that we owe them money.  PhoneBusters advsor also said these were a scam.  Beware! Don't send them any money and don't believe them when they say they are going to send you to collections.

called me at work on june 30'th. claimed to be from bell mobility and told me I won a new smart phone. I told him I wasn't interested and he got upset with me. after arguing with him on the phone for about 2 minutes I just hung up. Next time he calls I will keep him on the phone for as long as I can because it looks like the number is actually from a calling card.

Seems I only get calls like that after I give my cell number out. few days earlier we went to the colossus and after getting tickets, my 6 year old got sick and we left before the movie started. They gave me a refund for our tickets but I had to fill out a paper with my name and phone number. 1 day later and I started getting scam calls from (604) 560-8787 and (778) 329-0324. very shady!
