Calling regardless of do not call registry, unable to trace back. If I can find out ho is the reson for the call I will never purchase their product, and I will tell them so!!

area code 778 is from the Province of British Columbia in CanadaAs for the phone number, I do not know if it is a real number or a fake one....If it is real, then it could be a cel phone number.Message started off saying it was a politcal survey.Somebody once told me to hit the # sign repeated to get my phone number kicked out of the computer data-base ( it works at least temporarily). It also seems to force a disconnect when you do that. Any thoughts on this technique would be appreciated?

Have no Idea who this is.  I thought it might be a computer generated call, but there was no response when I answered.  I don't think the 'do not call' registry, works very well.  I think it has only managed to get these companies your number so they can harass you with these annoying calls.
