Got a call from (705) 981-7877 to my unlisted cellphone which is also supposed to be on the do not call list.....
They called at 9:05pm...I didn't answer....no message was left....
After checking out the number and these complaint sites about this number...I called it back..
only to receive an automated message telling me the call can not be placed and to check the number and dial again...

good thing that scam call i had last nite somehow went to "missed" call list on the first ring haha but yea i was confused of getting 705 call..so i didn't bother to call back and ignored it

re (705) 981-7877Sounds like a telemarketer BUT is a scammer.since the call claimed to be from Costco, I called Costco and the representative there told me that it is a fraudulent scam thing. She said that if you press the number that they want you to press, that you are likely to have long distance charges applied to your bill, or if they ask for Credit card number .... So far only cell phones are being targeted. The police have been notified and are working on it and Costco is keeping track of any reports to them of said calls.
