Basically the same here

Hello,Two nights ago, I submitted an application via Craigslist for a FOOD HELPER position at the local High School. I thought that this was a great opportunity and seemed to be legit. On Monday morning however i called the school and they said that they never posted such a page. One hour later I receive a call from this number. What scammers and those who try to take advantage over others. Dont they know that God does not like ugly- I pray for their repentance. Deception and lies are come to us every day but will we see? This was a wake up call to me and for me to be more discerning of who I send my information out too.  Just as my husband tells me, "whatever happened to getting up and going straight down to a company or organization to speak face to face? All of this internet business is a set up to be deceived!" Amen to that brother. May the Lord Jesus Bless us and awaken us,MD

This number showed up on my cell phone as a call from my cell phone, and I did not make this call. I was charged .49 for it.  Fortunately, the T-Mobile billing took it off of my bill.   Interesting to know that I have been scammed..........scary.Mary Bailey

Well, doesn't it suck that you get a legit incoming call (roadside assist robo call), you miss it and hit callback, then get billed for an international long distance call by your cell provider? I did, granted it was only .49 cents, but still, kinda sucks.

i just received two calls from this number.  I didn't answer in fear it was a scam, but after reading the comments I believe it was progressive verifying my tow.

Thank you for the info. This makes sense; I just used USAA road side assistance the other day. Still didn't answer though because I didn't recognize the number.
