I no longer answer my land-line unless I recognize the calling party's number, I let my answering machinepick-up the incoming calls.My outgoing message to all calling parties is a continuous recording of the Jeopardy theme tune which Ifound on YouTube!!!

I got an automated call saying 'since you are an airmiles customer, stay on for an important voucher worth $2000 for your next vacation."  I hung up.

Missed call to government number, from this number, at 1757 hrs., Sept 12.  Called back.  No answer after three rings.  Knock it off already, whoever you are!

I should have mentioned it was on my cell, which is not in the phone book.

Got two calls from this number in a minute, both times lasting only one or two rings.  I never picked up.
