Got a call today from this # on my cell and didn't know who it was. Just found out that a friend traveling out of the country called me & said I didn't answer...this was the only call that I received all day so it seems as though out of country calls to cell phones in our area are directed through this 727-9951 #. Since the caller called at the same time as when I a call from this #, its the only logical answer.

Have received 3 calls on my cell phone, a number I don't commonly give out, but missed it each time. Tried calling back and the number still isn't in service. How does a call come from an inactive exchange? Hmmm.

I constantly receive calls from that number. I received another one this morning. When I answer, no one speaks. When I call the number back, it says it is out of service. Very annoying. Has anyone reported this to Bell?

Nah... area code is 705 - that ain't Florida.  It's a Barrie, Ontario number.  (705) 727-9915.
Instead of complaining here, why not call the telephone company?  Only THEY can answer how you are getting called from an "out of service" phone number.

I suspect it is realated to the "Teleperformance" issues that have been arising lately. Got a call today from this number. A guy with maybe an Indian accent offering me a Bell phone for free and unlimited service for $30 a month. He asked me what phone I wanted and that it would cost $35 administration fee. I told him I would be interested in a Blackberry and he offered me something different. I then got fed up and hung up
