I had the same problem with John Frezie when I posted a car on gumtree.

With modern technology there must be a way to track down these fraudsters and stop pestering People.

LOL...He just tried to buy a refrigerator (sight unseen I might add) with exact same setup in the email. My wife then gets  a very clever and authentic looking PayPal receipt of payment. To the casual user, it would fool them. Little does he know I am a computer geek too so I will hunt him down and when i find him, going to slice his balls off.

I received an email from john.frezie001 @ gmail.com stating: Hi thanks for reply, i am a marine engineer, i am at sea right now. Iam buying this for my son as a surprise gift. I can  only pay throughpaypal at the moment as i dont have access to my bank account online(idont have internet banking with it), but i have it attached to mypaypal account, and this is why i insisted on using paypal to pay,alli will need is your paypal email address to make the payment, and ifyou dont have a paypal account yet, you can set one  it cant take youless than 3mins to do that, i will be expecting your paypal email so lcan pay.  I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up afterpayment has been sorted,  l will be waiting for your replyHe then demanded that we paid $900 to his agent to pick up the car and that he would reimburse us.

That is exactly the same message i got! Except his name was "John Frezie"

helo i just received the same email from the same scammer .it is so wrong what he has done i replied straight back to him and told him that the world is great with google as you can find out everything as bad news travels quickly......the story was exactly the same in our email,he insisted on paying through pay pal and he was going to suprise his son with a boat bla bla bla ........
