The call from this number appeared to be a scam.  The person asked for me by my last name and said they were calling about my visa or mastercard account and asked if I understood.  When I asked which one they said both.  When I asked them to take my name off their calling list they were caught off guard.  When I asked again they hung up.

I received 6 calls from this number today

This is the 10th time that this number has called, no sound on the end  and after 2 nice "yes, may I help you"'s I then proceeded to say "take me off your list" but only was able to get out the "take", before they hung up.

Now, under the same number once, on July 22nd 2010 someone said "this is in regards to your visa and mastercard and they are both in excellent standing and we want to offer you this great deal in lowering your interest rate" I proceeded to say, "really, that's very interesting, because I don't have either one" and they hung up on me.

But the silent one came again today. The problem now is if you join a do not call list, you get 10 more different numbers to replace that one.

Who calls from this number? They are a nuisance and should be shot be shot on sight. Why do we have to put up with this nonsense.
