I received a text from (647) 786-0673 at 3:22 am ET this morning Sat. 10/22/11. It said "You are a pending winner of an Apple Bundle including iPad2, iPhone 4S, or MacBook Air! Register to claim your prize now at claim.applebundle.org".

Who is this company and how did they get my cell phone number? My cell phone carrier is Verizon Wireless...is this an illegitimate company getting my info from Verizon Wireless, pretending to be getting information for legitimate marketing purposes? Maybe it's a scam by hackers trying to capitalize on all the Steve Jobs hype in the wake of his passing...?

Anyway, it's a bummer...I'd love to get a free iPad, iPhone or MacBook Air! Had a feeling it was probably too good to be true so I'm glad I checked online first before going to the website to claim my "prize"!

I received this in the middle of the night last night, and strangely I had just looked at the youtube describing the features of the 4S iphone. What's weird is that I watched it on someone else's iphone and I received this on my verizon envy phone.
