decided to actually answer it...very young sounding girl asked for my husband.  I claimed she had the wrong number, then asked what she was calling about anyway.  She claimed it was about a banking offer from Royal Bank.  I asked why the caller id didn't identify the bank and she said it was an outsourced call.  Well, I'm on the bank's dnc list, so they are either not honoring it, or it is just some scam.  I told her we would call the bank if we actually ever wanted another unnecessary service.  We think it is the same young girl that called previously with some other story...beware.

Got a call from this number. Answered it;  they asked for my name, then hung up.  Called, and received an automated message:  company is Samtel Solutions, "providing marketing solutions to it's customers".  If you call, there's a message allowing you to request being put on a do not call list.

My guess: They're a subsidiary of a collection agency, locating people for debt collection.
