I was just defrauded of 2KUSD and have been receiving threatening texts from unknown numbers. Now I'm getting calls from this number; I suspect they are related (Nigerian money-laundering scam). Ignore it.

Got called by this # at 1:00 AM, someone speaking foreign language then they hung up on me after waking me up!!!

i got a call today from this #. There was a voice message left that sounded way slowed down and kind of creepy.

"Fongo App" ??? Wow since yesterday- above 8:55pm I got the call and no tone.
Just two minutes ago, I got the call again from the same number, I Google it, found may of you having the same problem from (647) 727-0241. I am sure, someone could do something about this un wanted phone call at 9:20pm.

What a wasted human energy. They could have do something meaningful for their family and for themselves, especiallyHoliday Season, agreed?

(647) 727-0241 called me 2 times tonight. said its from ontario canada. phony phone number. BÆWARE!!!!! dont answer it!

647 is the area code for Ontario, Canada. It is a cellular phone number area code. For those saying it is from Asia, you are sadly mistaken; unless your family members are using the Fongo App for smart phones, but that would require your family to download, install, and install the App only when they were in Canada at some point.

I got a call from this no# and was not able to call them back immediatly. I tried reaching the no# , it rings bu no one picks the call!!!.....its very annoying.....i keep getting calls when i am in meetings:(

i think it is an over seas number to call the US. If you you some one over seas like i do. It is the calling card they are using to call you.

If you have family or friends in other countries outside of the US, when someone call you from there they have this number popping up sometime.  I got calls from them too and when I picked up it was my cousin from Cambodia.

Yes Yes The question is now answered! If you know someone in Asia or overseas caller id can show thiss number. My wife calls me from Cambodia and hangs-up before I can answer, so I know to turn on my Skype. I hope this helps some of you!

I got a call from this number this morning and I called back just now but no one answers.

the number (647) 727-0241 called me three times from yesterday but it did not answer....so annoying!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from that number at 11:30pm.Caller ID says Ontario, Canada.There was a couple, talking to each other, maybe in a car.I couldn't make out what they were saying but it sounded like english.Although I m convinced some words were French...Very annoying.
