I hear you pissedoff, and 100% agree with you.
The Peel Police in Mississauga were no better when they called for me to buy some sort of tickets for a policeman's ball charity. Some a**hole named Nick phoned me AT HOME, I said I would think about it and maybe get back to them.
After saying that,Nick the Prick started to get VERY verbally agressive and with a VERY threatning tough cop voice DEMANDED to know why I couldn't buy the tickets now since they were only 20 dollars each
. I then yelled F*** YOU !!! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW RUDE YOU ARE!!!! Then I proceeded to bang the phone down. I can only imagine how terrified a senior living alone, or someone new to this country would be after getting a call like this!!
If everyone refuses buy ANYTHING or support charites the police support, especially for the policeman's ball. Hopefully the loss of donations will give them the message that tough cop voice intimidation tactics will not work in collecting donations or selling tickets.
Please spread the word around about their bad manners and don't feel bad about being rude back THEY are the ones invading YOUR privacy.
P.S. I never heard from Nick the Prick or the Peel Police again.

they just called my work, and asked to speak to one of the owners, or something else, and when i said there was nobody available, is there something i could help her with, or could i take a message, she hung up on me.... (647) 722-5916
i blocked the number out an called them back, but it just rang and rang....

they're frauds. toronto police my a**. i actually went and searched up toronto police amateur association. it does exist. but their tel # is completely diff. omg if they ever call again, i'm gona prank them so bad they will def. hang up and never call again.

this is Toronto Police Amateur Athletic Association, asking to sponsors their gaming events... if u tell them that u are not able to sponsors their gaming...
their package are 1000$ $850, $450 $150 etc.... if u tell them big no, they still keep telling u some stories n try to get money back from u....
I told him to call me back after few hours so i can talk to my partner...(to just excuse this person because he was just behind me to get the money ) he kept calling me back for 2 days, 10-15 calls per day, today i end up yelling on them after reading all these comments... i hope he doesn't call back now !!!
what a person, if u can't sponsors them, you can't, period !!!!! anyway !!!

They're extremely aggressive, rude and vile people. We get these calls at my place of work once a year around this time EVERY year. But I can't do anything about it because they always change their number.
If they call you, the best thing you can do is tell them calmly never to call again and then to hang up before they can get a word on (and if they do, they're RUDE and AGGRESSIVE and the scum of the earth). My experience is that they don't call back (within the year).
The Toronto Police should be alerted to how BOGUS this is!!!!!!
