Legit...This is a company that just called me on behalf of Costco Canada and they have left a message about a recall on Sabra Red Pepper Hummus as it is possibly contaminated with Listeria. They said to return it and to not consume it. I guess I'll be taking it back.

Recording about a recall of a product Costco sold. I'm not a Costco customer.

Just another spam call .....no one speaks when you answer. I just waited for about a minute and the line finally went dead.

Victoria, I had a similar call from this number, but it was supposedly a recall on frozen organic peas out of Cosco. I believe the scam has something to do with pressing a certain number to re hear message, etc. Its a reverse charge scam, so dont press any numbers!!

A message in French from Costco saying something that I do not understand. I called back and was unable to reach anyone

Did not respond to the call. But a message was left from Costco. They said I am in their list of customer (never went there in my life...) and they warn me about some chicken I have bought that may contain bacteria...Still wonder how they get my number and why the protected list from the government is useless...

This number just called me and said they were from Costco doing a food recall from "Farmer's Foods". The lengthy voicemail saying that their records show I had been shopping in May (which is accurate!) and that I need to throw out all broccoli, cheese, and chicken... ? Obviously they are not actually Costco so I don't understand what kind of scam this is supposed to be.

I didn't answer, but the caller left a message about the Almond Butter I had purchased at Costco. Apparently there is a recall due to Salmonella

They said a calendar company.    Seems odd to me, but that's what the msg said.   Maybe by calling from Ontario, Canada (or disguising it to appear so) they avoid any hassle with DoNotCall list.  Of course, I've never heard of any company being troubled by DoNotCall infractions.  Looks like a 'normal' fed thing... setup an agency program to look good, then do nothing with it.  Probably diverting funds to something else.
