Got a call just now and didnt get to it on time.  They didnt leave a VM.  So annoying.

This number called 0915 PST Sunday morning 12JAN2014. I was planning to sleep in. Called back and there was a recording saying I had been invited to participate in a survey and that it had now expired. Press 9 to be removed from the list.

Got a call from this number this a.m.@ 9:54.  did not answer, no message left.  I assumed spam since I did not recognize this number.  I read the info from Sharon (below).  The increased number of spam calls is on the upswing, so I just don't answer anything and wait for a message.  If legit, they leave info.  Thanks everyone for sharing the info.   Note:  signing up for the D.N.C.L. apparently is a joke.  The list is shared!   Sent to telemarketers etc.  True for home phones and cell phones.    Just ignore these garbage calls since we can't block them

They just call....and they call every week and month also. I did report at the CRTC this past January 2014. I am tired of it
