just received phone call today Jan 02, 2013 at 5:39 EST.  Took a long time for person to connect on other end and sounded like a call type room.  hung up.

They just called me, Air Duct Cleaning or whatever. I've had calls from them before, so I immediately interrupted the man and said, "Yeah I know you're just scammers. You call to come in and case the place for a robbery. I've looked up your company and it's not legit. Maybe you don't know this. I advise you to find a new job immediately."He told me he was offended that I thought it was a scam, and told me they were legit, and had a proper website, phone number, and everything. I asked him for the website, and he said,"Why should I give you the website?"Legit, yeah... Never believed these guys.

Yes! Call and let Phonebusters know. They keep track of all these scams and try to pinpoint the originator as,believe it or not, many people fall for these scams and lose so much money, are victims or identity theft and sometimes worse.

I had a call from (613) 987-6589.  When I answered there was no response.  I hung up, called the number back, and was told that this number is no longer in service.

At. 9:43am EST I too received an unwanted disturbance from this number...and I am on the Canadian DNCL. Of course, the list only works with calls originating in Canada...or so by the government employee that called when I filed an official complaint last year.I will have the last laugh with these calls...my Bell phone is being disconnected mid Jan and I've moved to 100% VOIP where I can filter my incoming calls personally. If you're not on my white list...you don't even ring my number.I win...Bell Canada loses!
