Wow,It's nice to be among friends who just had the s**t scared out of them. Just got the same call. What's especially fun was that the call came in after I'd pulled an 18 hour work day, and I was completely exhausted. It really put the cherry on my cake.When I called the number back, it rang three times then went beep beep beep and died. No idea how that would allow anybody to scam me - unless the CRA nailed them.I'm a Canadian, so this hits close to home. Our CRA is like your IRA in the States. A force not to be trifled with.

Got the call same story!  Be carefull!  When I mentionned that I saw this as a scam, they hang up!

I just called that number and told them if your working for the government prove it, you are scammers  My dad does my income tax , he is an accountant and there will be no mistakes on my taxes! No comment on the broken English spoking dude . He pretended he couldn't here me and the line cut off!

calling that number reroutes to a auto ID tracker (every phone number that calls it gets placed in a list that they turn around and resell)You can hear the redirection on the 5th ring (extra long,fraction pause,and continued ring)It's the same system we used to use for BBS's back in the day.

A message was left on my voicemail that CRA is filling a lawsuit ....BSCalled back and some one answered very unprofessionally with a long name...I asked what is this place and he replied CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) I laughed and said...Oh really ....The operator said,,,Are you kidding with me...CRA does not do this...Total Scam.

Threatened law Suite....Very Disturbing.Called this number no response. Very Poor Phone Static
