They keep calling for some Lawson dude....nobody here by that name!

Call From MBNA Collection Department !

mbna is horribly unscrupulous. They make it difficult to contact them. They wont even let you speak to them unless you provide them with a verbal password. They even block you from making any online purchases. I have no idea even American express is as bad as mbna

This phone number called me and after investigating, it seems like it's the MBNA bank. I talked with someone from their customer services and they have absolutely no file with my phone number and my name and I never had anything from this bank. I seriously wonder how they could obtain my phone number.

Why are they calling at 9:04 pm when the law states they should only call me between 7am - 8 pm, I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. They also called me an additional 8 times that same day when I wasn't home 3:40 pm, 1:24 pm, 1:00 pm, 12:46 pm, 12:10 pm, 11:37 am, 11:08 am, 10:37am...my call display will only stores the last 10 numbers that called and with my step father in the hospital out of province, I would not see his number when he or the hospital calls :-/ yes unfortunately I'm a month behind my last payment, but I already told them that I'm on EI and trying to keep up with paying my Rent, Power bill and Rogers till I can get another job and also seeking counseling with a financial adviser on Dec.16th. for my 2nd meeting.

That will work.  They'll definitely stop calling now.  Brilliant.
