Yes, same story. 5 years of bad taxes, $1972 owing, they've already tried contacting me several times without success so there's a warrant for me and if I refuse to pursue this on the phone right now, the police will arrest and detain me. Actually a pretty terrifying call initially but I stopped believing it and he just bailed.I called the number back and another guy with an Indian accent but named Harry (first guy with accent was named Brian....) answered and started the same speech. I got angry and demanding and he got emotional right back. He hung up on me and when I called back a third time he answered the phone "what do you want Mr. [***]?"  Busted. Beyond belief.

This number is an from an app they are using a mobile device and probably McDonald's WiFi. It will be hard for them to be caught because they could be in PEI but can choose the area code they want. If anyone contacts the authorities let them know that it's a phone/Texting app

I just missed a call from the said number. I attempted to phone back and the line was always busy.

I received a recorded message saying that they were the CRA, they have been trying to get a hold of me for several days, that there was a warrant out for my arrest, AND I was involved in a lawsuit.I tried calling the number back, but it just rang a few times and then disconnected.

got a call from this # today, when I picked it up the message said they have been trying to reach me for several days. and that there is a warrant out for my arrest in Ontario. I live in alberta. I think the local police would have my address since these people have my phone #. I haven't lived in Ontario for 39 yrs, annoying

They said that I have been Filing my taxes Incorrectly for the last 5 years. They said that they have been trying to get ahold of me for a few days. This was the first call that I have received from them, as I have caller ID.I believe they said they were the CRA.  I forget Who he introduced himself as. It was obvious that he did not know his script He had to mute himself twice And kinda mumbled the second time without muting. That's where I think he knows he made a mistake. I tried a few times to call back And there was no answer.
