same thing for me. recording: "we have made several attempt at contacting you, and this is your last chance to lower your interest rate". I was a bit puzzled, but I pressed 1 anyways, knowing it would be a scam and hoping to threaten them. Sadly, after a couple clicking noises, the line went dead.

I have had several calls from this (613) 693-1293. I returned the call and was abused verbally. Nice customer service!! Anyway, I called 1 +1 866-580-3625, a government number to deal with scam artist. This is a credit card scam, they are based out of U.S. and the authorities on both sides of the border know and are investigating this. You can file a complaint for your last call recieved and they will record and get in touch with you. Do not give the 613 number any information and call the 1 866 number to file a complaint. They will be caught.go leafs go

Message to lower credit card rates
Bruce
Hello,
If you are already on the National Do-Not-Call list, you can submit a complaint about this number by going to this government site : https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng
The more people who submit complaints will elevate the chances we have of ending these annoying calls. I have been called at least 10 times from the same number, always a recorded voice telling me I must act immediately as this is the last attempt they will make to try to reach me (liars). Then they want me to reduce the rate on my credit card by pushing 1 to speak to a representative. Pushing 2 has no effect (the message says it will remove your number from the list). I have pushed 2 on 4 different occasions, knowing full well I am likely just confirming my telephone number to them.
Please submit a complaint if you have been annoyed by this phishing scam. It is the only way these calls will stop.
Thanks, Bruce.

Yup, they called me too. Garbled message but something about credit card rates. Didn't get a return #, recording was too messed up. PIA - I know it's a scam as we are on the Do-Not-Call-List so any reputable company doesn't call here. That just leaves the garbage calls!!!
