I have had numerous calls from this number as well. Answered before but no one was there. Today, I did get someone saying they were from the Redemption Center, who went on and on about this package they wanted to send out - same as others, wanting $1.99 for the Shipping & Handling. I just hung up on her. I tried calling back, but the call doesn't connect or even ring.

This number just cakked me I pickd up no1 was saying anyhing so I hung up tried to call back got half a ring and told they were unavailable

I received the spam calls in numerous times and the caller is a lady as Alex, ID# 100130 from AMEX redemption Rewards Dept. She talked like a long train without pause and I have to stop her from talking. Instead she hanged up. Beware Spam calls.

just got a call. sounded like flamboyant gay sounding dude and sounded a little nervous. offered me $100 in rewards including airline tickets and electronics from "local stores". I asked how they got this number and he gave a vague reply and said he was from a redemption "rewards" company for either AMEX, Visa, MC or debit. why didnt you know buddy? wanted me to pay $1.95 for shipping...I said "let me think about it" and hung up. Beware.

just called telling me they were from windows technical service and they discovered someone was hacking my computer. when i asked where they were located, they said toronto ... i said that was interesting since they were calling from a 613 number and hung up. they did want me to go to my computer and they would "help" me with the hackers *rolling eyes*

I never answer this number. very pissed off they are really bugging me.

Same number called me today to tell me I am a great customer and with a rewards program to offer. They said just a 1.05 sent shipping fee and they would send it. Of course they wanted my credit card number. I told them no and hung up! Looks like another scam BEWARE DO NOT give them your credit card number over the phone!

That number called me the yesterday at 8:00 am and this morning at 5:50 am on my cell. I'm getting very pi*#$^ off. Next time they call I'll answer Ottawa Police Department.

This number keeps phoning both my house and cell with automated messaging from the college I'm in but I never get calls from school so I just ignore this but calling so often is bugging me.

The called seems know some information regarding your life. Wondering where did they get the information. Very annoying.

Just got a call from this number at 9 in the morning. I gave the number to the police office who lives next door saying I found this site and that this number has been harassing the people of ottawa. You are welcome

Weird guy, thick accent (sounded like Jafar from Disney's Aladdin) kept saying my name oddly...just freaked me out.

Got several calls from this number. When calling back no response. After calling back I got a tech support call using my name and asking me to be available during a specific period of time in the next few days. I did not initiate this, the number is registered to Kingston and I'm in Ottawa. Again, I never initiated any form of tech/help support and the fact they failed to identify themselves was a big red light warning for me.

Just received a call from a male claiming his name was Jimmie Stewart (yeah, think about that for a sec) and was representing ADT and, LUCKY ME, I had been chosen for free home security connection. I told him I was already hooked up with another provider and, being quite rural, was looking forward to whomever attempted to break into my home as I am a 4th degree blackbelt, my wife is a 1st degree blackbelt, and we have 2 protection dogs that live in the home. He hung up, but I am hoping he visits soon :)

I received a call this afternoon from what I was told was the montreal redemption center about a lucrative incentive of $100 gift card (petro) from what the woman kept talking to me about and 2 free airline tickets to miami or some other destination of their choosing. I mention to this woman that my number was unlisted and that I'm on the official do not call registry and asked her upfront if their company respects that. At no point in my conversation did she acknowledge to me of her access to my private information. As I mentioned to her that this conversation seemed a bit sketchy and that I found places like this where people have had similar experiences with companies like this one in particular where everyone said it was a scam and that is when she hung up the phone and when I tried calling back the number given it wasn't reachable. FYI if you do get a call in the area of (613) 598-0270 it might just be this company trying to contact you.

This happened to me too, An Indian male kept telling me my computer keeps downloading and spamming his department malware.  He said I needed to renew my security license to keep from getting hacked and stuff.  I just hung up figuring he was the one who was going to try and hack me lol

I suspect that the caller is a customer service agent who is hired by the telephone provider to use up your minute. Each time you answer, it takes $.15 of your money. I just received a call from this number. My cell phone has not answered well so never have the chance to answer it. I use a landline to call back. But it is just a busy line. They always call your cell phone not your land line. No one knows my cell number but my provider. It is set  automatically to call the targets.
