Had a call from this number, looking for my son's friend. My wife told her that the person she was looking for does not live here and when my wife asked her name she said that she would call again and hung up . My son and his friend are only 14. I do not know how they got his name and why they called my house not his? Have they stolen their profile from internet?

It sounds like telemarketing. I was checking this web site to find out who was calling from this number because a few hours ago someone called but didn't say a thing when I picked up. Coincidentally I got a call just now. He said it was not telemarketing but I could hear other people calling in the background. It sounded like a busy office. He called me to let me know that my name was entered in the $25000 sweepstake and they confirm who I am by a few simple questions. I told him that I was not comfortable with the fact that he already knew a few things about me and that I wasn't interested in the sweepstakes anyway. He thanked for my time and hung up. I am not sure how to block that number but I will investigate that next since we already asked to be removed and we have not been removed from the call list yet.

this number called i asked what it was about and they just kept saying they would call back.the guy was so quick to get me off the phone once i said my mom wasnt here. he refused to tell me where he was from or what it was about been calling 2 times a day for the past month. i just moved to edmonton 2 months ago and my mom just moved here a month ago. the phone is under my name. idk how they got my number and new she was here as every thing is in my name. also i just got my phone hooked up a month ago. Idk how this guy who sounded famine,and perhaps oriental new but i am very weary. i seen on another thing like this its bell, i called them and they said it has nothing to do with them. idk i think its fraud.

I get this call at least once, twice a week. I nevver pick it up as i do not reconize the number. Obviously it is telemarketing. I have only lived here 2 months and already i am getting telemarketers bothering me.

Just received call stating my name was entered into draw.  Didn't know my name or address or any info about me.  Lots of noise in background sounded like kids.

Call from Publishers clearing house.  Called about $25,000 sweepstakes.  asked to confirm year of birth... said no, asked again, said no.  Call hung up.

I got a call from this number a few mins ago, didnt leave a mesage. I know that there is quite a bit of fraud going on in the ottawa area as of late.

got a call, did not pick up, no message left.

these people are RUDE..calling about a $25,000 sweepstakes. Asked to be removed and she said YEs, then kept talking about her sales pitch..i talked and she continued to talk over me.. then hung up! these people are relentless and dont follow the rules.
