I believe that it actually is the Firefighter association. I went to a Magic Show in Decemeber  called Miracles N Magic, which was put on by a company called Zentel and the money raised went to the Ottawa Firefighter association. Some how they have passed my number on because now I am getting calls from this number and they would like me to go to other events and buy tickets to help charities. I think it is a legit phone number but the calls are annoying.

Called this number, heard that it was Ottawa Firefighters, the recording said to call 1-+1 800-379-2116 for more information.  Calling this number and pushing 9 and then 1 gave me a promise to be added to a "do not call" list.  I don't know if it will work.

Added my number to their do-not-call list and for a few months they stopped calling.  They have recently returned.  Went through the process again of adding my number to their do-not-call list.  We will see what happens.
