I received a message from this number today, I answred and it was Scotia Bank saying that I have something wrong with my account... So, I guess this number belongs to them.

A guy called claiming to be a Bell rep, offereing 3 Solo phones for free with just a $25 per month plan.  My fiance said she wasn't interested and the phone was in my name anyway so he should call back, the guy said he could only call back within the hour.  He kept asking for her SIN so he could do a credit check, even after she repeatedly told him no.  He said something about our Bell services, which is funny because we do not use Bell at all.Scammer!

Just got a call from these guys again - they've called 2-3x a day for the past week, and when I answer there's no one there... a very poorly configured predictive dialer.

Anyway - the company is called Reliance, and they were trying to sell something. I already have a hot water tank rented from them, but I didn't listen to her long enough to let her tell me what she was trying to sell before instructing her never to call me again.

Received a call from this number and it was a friend calling using skype

I receive calls from this number at my work place almost everyday. When I answer nobody speaks. and after a few second of silence the line gets disconnected. When I call back it plays " The number you've reached is not in service - this is s recording". I wonder how this type of automated calls pass through our exchange and reach my extention. Ususally, if someone wants to reach me at work he has to dial the exchange and then dial an extension. Is it possible to follow these steps through automated process?

By the way, I don't owe money to anyone and I don't use Fido or Rogers service. But the skype incoming number is generally ends with 0000. I've a friend who calls me regularly from Skype and I see different numbers all ends with 0000.

Does anyone have any clue about this spammer?

I received this number calling me at 11:30 p.m.

when I went to call it the next day...it said that number has been disconnected....

Now I don't believe anyone will call to tell me why this happened......just wanted to report it
