We've been having this number call our house for about 24h hours now.  At supper time yesterday, it called for the first time, and called about every five minutes after that, making that fax sound.  At first, we thought it was someone that was just really incompetent with fax machines, so we decided to unplug the phone for the night.  When we tried calling back, it was the obvious no service message.  Around noon today, when we plugged the phone again, I checked the messages, and that number had called us 24 times during the night!!!  24 TIMES!!!  It started calling again around 6 o'clock today, while we were having supper.  My mother called bell to ask about these calls, and all they said was that it wasn't a bell number, so they couldn't do much about it, except offer to block that number for 7$ a month.  We need to pay bell to keep that number from spamming us.  This is ridiculous.  And even if it was a con artist, how could this even be profitable??  I mean, it's not like they're the ones who are getting the 7$/month pay...  About every five minutes still, we get a call.  Same thing, same number, same fax sound.

i received a call from this number. I called back and found that is not in Service!!

I get this call occasionally if i call back it tells me the number is longer in service.

Called the home and when answered it sounded like someone was listening and then hung up

This call came in from someone supposedly representing TD Canada Trust asking who made the last transaction at the bank etc.
Obviously a scammer.

The calls on October 3rd came across as faxes,
but the calls on the 4th and 5th left no message or fax sound.
