receive this call daily, nothing but a beep. call back- not in service

I got two calls from this number today.  The first at 7h03pm.  Called back and like many others, got the "number is not in service" message.  Got another call at 7h51pm.  Answered it and it was Penny Collenette's campaign asking for my vote.  From what I've read above, sounds like this number is being used by different services at different times.  This info will probably not help anyone looking to find out who's calling them after the election as I'm guessing the number will probably be taken over some other service afterwards.

I received a call from this number Oct. 12, 2007. Same result: I answered it and there was nothing on the line. I called back and got a 'not in service' message.

I got a call from this number (613) 232-7437 ) as well on June 27, 2008 and June 30 2008, it left no message, and when I called back, it said the number is not in service.

We've been having this number call our house for about 24h hours now.  At supper time yesterday, it called for the first time, and called about every five minutes after that, making that fax sound.  At first, we thought it was someone that was just really incompetent with fax machines, so we decided to unplug the phone for the night.  When we tried calling back, it was the obvious no service message.  Around noon today, when we plugged the phone again, I checked the messages, and that number had called us 24 times during the night!!!  24 TIMES!!!  It started calling again around 6 o'clock today, while we were having supper.  My mother called bell to ask about these calls, and all they said was that it wasn't a bell number, so they couldn't do much about it, except offer to block that number for 7$ a month.  We need to pay bell to keep that number from spamming us.  This is ridiculous.  And even if it was a con artist, how could this even be profitable??  I mean, it's not like they're the ones who are getting the 7$/month pay...  About every five minutes still, we get a call.  Same thing, same number, same fax sound. ARGHHHH
