Just got a call from these guys again - they've called 2-3x a day for the past week, and when I answer there's no one there... a very poorly configured predictive dialer.

Anyway - the company is called Reliance, and they were trying to sell something. I already have a hot water tank rented from them, but I didn't listen to her long enough to let her tell me what she was trying to sell before instructing her never to call me again.

I got a call from this number 2 times in 2 day. I called rogers and asked how this was possible the guy told me it was a collection agency. this freaked me out because i don't owe anyone money (i hope) I never got a fax sound but im wondering if maybe there is a scam going on somehow tided to this number.

I get a call from this number after being stupid and giving my number to someone I don't know.  This guy talks to me when he calls but for a very short period of time.  He says he is from Britain, apparently his name is Terry Phillip!!  He says it is his company phone; however it is a local call.  When I try calling back same thing the number is not in service.

....which makes me wonder how this can be done?
A phone number calls my line, and when you call back, you get a "not in service" message?

Got a call from this number.  Nobody there.
Called back, got a not in service message.

It's ok, this just phone # people try to call from phone card or internet phone.
