I am a receptionist at a buisness and they constantly call daily. Everytime I get a call from a telemarketer I wait until they answer so I can tell them to take our number off of their calling list. However, they consistently hang up promply after I answer, leaving me with a dial tone. So Mark you are inaccurate to say that people are not patient.I am extremely irritated with these phone calls and they disrupt my busy workday!

I got this caller and the caller ID said the number with quotation marks and without the 1 at the begining all try asked for is my Dad.  then I checked on Canada 411 and they couldn't identify the phone number so I check the area codes and 613 is from somewhere in Ontario

its from somewhere in ottawa. thats what the 613 means

CallerID shows "(613) 219-1293" (including quotation marks) for the name.  I did not recognize the number, so I let the computer answer.  No message was left, but based on reports given here, I have put a block on the number.

Who is this person, company?

They just don't stop calling me last days, but I don't answer when I see a phone number I don't know. No messages left. But I'm wondering how did they get my number, because it supposed to be confidential.
