Same happen to me. I picked up and they hangup.

3 calls in 3 days. no message, just a quick muffled muttering. i have only gotten these calls on voicemail, so i don't know if someone would speak if i picked up.

I get calls from this number. Finally picked up. It was someone from a coalition that seems to support the HST. Tax reform coalition or something. Or at least that's what they said. They seemed to want names of all the voters in the household.

I get called up to three times a day.  I never answer, and the message light flashes, but there is no message. Somebody is wasting their money and my time.

this number calls every day even sunday morning never leaves a message. If its in favour of the hst. guess where it can go

This is a company called Campaign Research, as has been said before. If you go to their website you will see some of the senior executives names. You could probably find their own home numbers if you tried hard by looking on Canada 411. Believe me, they don't appreciate being called at home at all.
