They are not a collection agency! Look at other sites on Google to read about the assortment of comments on this number. Whoever is using this number is using a wide variety of (often aggressive) tactics to fish for any kind of personal identifying information. They seem to resort to all kinds of tactics to grab people's attention and information. I think it's for identity theft purposes. We have receive calls from this number for a few years. The other day I receive a call from them on my cell phone.

This is a great service/tool to use to prevent others from falling victim to these Scammers. Everybody keep up the good work and post as much information as possible. This is the way we can protect each other.

PS: Dont believe what they tell you, a surveyor, political party, charity... if they ask for any personal info they are really Scammers in the background. Those entities are exempt from DNC list so the Scammers use to hide their true identity.

An addendum to my above posting for others to heed just in case.
Here is how the ad reads as from the posting on Craigslist in Vancouver BC. I have flagged the posting as spam and suppose that it will be removed soon enough, but I suspect it'll pop up again somewhere as scammers tend to be rather tenacious...

same here, i've gotten at least 5 calls today from this number.. has anyone found out where it's traced back to? This is ridiculous

I have a solution for you all...Answer your F***ing phone and find out who it is that is calling like they did in the olden days!

August ~ October 2007 received many calls usually 5 AM on MTWTFSS.  Then it stopped for a while [November ~ December 2007]
Started again once so far since January 1st, 2008
