I had call from this person too I couldn't understand most of what he was trying to say (the accent)  and as im hearing impaired he was rude when I said I couldn't understand him something about a lottery  not the first time this has happened and he said hes  going to ring back I don't want to receive calls form this person how do I block this number?

I've had this phone ring me several times now getting fed up with it the number says its from British Columbia Canada who he hell are you .

Yeah same thing, lots of contact attempts over the past week and a bit. Sent them a text telling them that I'm not interested in or an easy target of whatever scam they are running. Have blocked the number on my smartphone...

A guy rang me and I said to him I didn't want to give him my details as I have been victim of people doing fraud on my account in the past. I said to him, therefore I am very careful now. I said to him, I can play Irish  Lottery from a betting shop. He tried to convince me not to play from a betting shop as I will not be able to enter the jackpot draw of £8000 otherwise.

When I said to him I will ask my mother in law how she plays the Irish Lottery or I will talk to my husband first, he said "WHAT WILL YOU TELL YOUR HUSBAND?" I replied, "whatever you have told me". I found him dodgy, I asked him for the Office Number, he said it is 0800969029.He also said his ID number was AG2988 and when I asked him why do I need to know that? He replied, he has to tell me. I also questioned him why the telephone number he called from appeared as (604) 871-2799 on my mobile and not 0800969029??? Then he replied to me that the Head Office is in Vancoeuver, Canada.

He even said to me:"I can talk to you for an hour to explain everything." I said sorry I haven't got an hour to speak to him. I found him dodgy as he said to me "PLEASE PUT 5% OF YOUR TRUST IN ME AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER THE DRAW"

Why would someone use the word TRUST? Why do I need to trust a stranger?

In the end, I just told him, I am happy with what I have got. I am not interested in the lottery anymore.

I have been fooled by taxback.com pretending to have an office in Oxford Street who already knew I was due a tax return? They kept phoning me but now they have stopped.

Hi,got a call from this number,guy with a Canadian accent saying he was calling on behalf of the European lotteries,i asked where he was calling from and he did say Vancouver,he said that if i paid £28 i would be entered until april,he knew the last 4 digits of my credit card and asked if he could take the money from there,i said yes but on hindsite now iam not sure thats why iam on here,dont know if its a scam or not,think i will report this to the police and see what they say.
