I got a call from this number, and when I answered no one was there.  I answered, HELLO three times, and nothing.  About a minute later though, I got a message on SKYPE that my daughter had tried to call from Germany and I had answered and said HELLO three times but couldn't hear her.

I called her back on SKYPE and sure enough it was her that had called.  I assume that the number (604) 855-7584 is a number that routes SKYPE calls.  

This could be why you get the long busy signal when you try to call it back, and that no one can trace the number to anyone.  

This means that you are either getting a legitimate call from someone you know from SKYPE and it just doesn't connect through to you.

It is also true then that if the call connects and someone speaks to you and tries to scam you, that they are using SKYPE to make these types of calls.

Hope this explanation helps someone figure out who may be calling.

Selling furntiture and fortunately it was already sold. Phoned back to check on number and got long weird tone as well. Local Abbotsford number (604) 855-7584 was Googled and it showed a residence on James Street by Old Yale Road.

(604) 855-7584  was screening my calls and this number appeared.  checked on here and see it's not anyone i know!  is it a scammer???

If someone from British Columbia calls you from Skype it will show up as this number sometimes.

its a wierd routing number of some sort because it comes up when my sister calles me from usa to cnada and it came up when my sons dad called from usa and it came up when scotiabank called

i got a call from this number on my cell phone, i pick up and no one says anything. its a waste of my minutes. called it back and you get a long as* busy tone.
