My commodities broker calls me from Chicago and this number comes up. On another thread this number is identified as a major carrier trunk line. That is it is a major feed line for calls coming into Canada. It is probably used mainly by companies marketing some product or service but it also appears with cellular calls across the border. Roaming on cell, etc.

Or it could be boogie men, that sounds reasonable too!!!

I got a call from this number, and when I answered no one was there.  I answered, HELLO three times, and nothing.  About a minute later though, I got a message on SKYPE that my daughter had tried to call from Germany and I had answered and said HELLO three times but couldn't hear her.

I called her back on SKYPE and sure enough it was her that had called.  I assume that the number (604) 855-7584 is a number that routes SKYPE calls.  

This could be why you get the long busy signal when you try to call it back, and that no one can trace the number to anyone.  

This means that you are either getting a legitimate call from someone you know from SKYPE and it just doesn't connect through to you.

It is also true then that if the call connects and someone speaks to you and tries to scam you, that they are using SKYPE to make these types of calls.

this number continues to phone my house and my cell all the timeI phoned my telphone company and all the can tell me that ita telemarketer and when you call back it rings busy

its a wierd routing number of some sort because it comes up when my sister calles me from usa to cnada and it came up when my sons dad called from usa and it came up when scotiabank called

They've been calling every day! automated voice talking about my vehicle and how i must pay and it's the last notice. Tried calling it back but just got a loud solid beep sound.

I just got a call from this number. Computer/recorded voice said, "This prize is available to Telus customers only.  To claim your prize press 1."  Figured it was a scam.  While I was looking it up on the computer they hung up.  Some people just don't know how to work for a living.
