Guys, this is not a scam. It is an actual company and a very popular internship at UBC and across North America. I know quite a few people in it. and the ubc student warned me about this internship. Hmm. Fishiness. Good thing I didn't answer anyway. However, according to white pages, this is a mobile phone and based in New Westminister (which is pointless, because a lot of mobiles end up directing that way)and provided by Rogers.

Some guy asking for people to attend a hearing for Southwestern Summer Internship seminar or something going down at UBC. Sounded a bit fishy, and they got my number by stealing it from a friend of mine. Don't be surprised if they know your name and say a friend recommended you (which your friend likely did not).

My gosh... same here. I'm not sure whether it's a scam or not, but they knew my name and faculty. His name is Nib, if that helps at all. They're having an info meeting, but he never told me which company it was for. Anyone know anything about this internship?
