Who calls from this number, who? When you call back there is a dial tone.

I received a call from (604) 678-5888 from someone who sounded like a Chinese guy I could tell from his accent, told me he was a windows maintenance contact ,asked for me by my full name and asked if that was me, when I replied yes, he put the phone down immediately. I tried to call the number back straight away it was a dead number, how is that possible. I tried it several times, I am now worried in case somebody hacks into my system.

ya i got that number (604) 678-5888 earlier today and they said they had my license of my computer, so i replied " well what is my license? and they and i exchanged a couple of words. well heck i was actually busy cooking ! and now i burnt my dinner.  so these people have too stop!

called is not bell my service provide is bell.. the person calling hangs up and does not talk

They call me at 903am today. But didn't pick up!

Got this missed call an hour ago, looked up the number, and brought me to this site. Thank you!I experienced these type of scams in the past. They simply make up stuff about your Windows OS, with the basic info they somehow syphoned from your ISP or Internet activities. I told them off.

I got a call from (604) 678-5888 yesterday evening, and they could properly address my full name.  They said that my PC was infected with virus and needed to do something on it immediately by following their instructions.  I called Telus, my phone provider the next morning and they confirmed that my phone and internet were OK.  mkJul 24, 2013
