got a call from this number, called back and service could not connect/complete.

Fellow identified himself as working for a company with POS systems of some sort. I told him I don't accept calls from telemarketers which he denied he was, the more he talked confirmed he was a telemarketer. He wouldn't shut up & continually tried to overtalk me until I told him the number he called was registered to the do not call list. I repeated several times a request to be removed from their lists. Phone number on call display is (604) 628-2598. My number is in Canada.

I had a missed call from this number recently and the caller stayed on the phone leaving a message without talking. You could hear people speaking in Chinese in the background. For some reason, I thought this call was a little odd. So, if they call again I will ignore there calls.

called me saying, he is from ali mohammed, no idea what he is talking about. kept asking if i have a mortgage and wanting to confirm my address, then shortly after he disconnected.

This number is being used as a rental fraud at the moment.
They're pretending to be a missionary in nigeria and asking you to send the damage deposit and then they will have the keys to the appartment sent to you.
