I let it go to message, and then played the message back. It is Big Brother's Clothing Donations. It just annoys me that they don't display their name when they call the house.

I believe they now call from their home phones which is why we don't see any name on caller display

It is annoying that despite telling them no men's stuff to donate,they keep calling almost everyday wtf.It is an east indian woman calls over&over does not listen

They keep calling my cell. I don't care if it is Big Bros, I don't want to be bothered by unwanted calls, PERIOD. Unsolicited calls make me NOT want to support your cause.

Yeah we have asked ,told what have you to take our number off their phone lists . Well 3 -4 yrs later we are still getting these phone calls. Do yourself a favor and buy a phone that has  a call block feature on it . Works great for us.

This is Big Brothers and they will NOT stop calling us.  We have had numerous conversations with them to tell them to TAKE US OFF THEIR CALLING LIST and they have assured us three times that they will do it - and yet the calls continue.

I asked to be removed from their calling list and still they call months later! Buggers.

They've called me four times in the last two days.... i'm just not picking up their calls anymore; i'll be e-mail them so that i can be removed otherwise i will look else where to give my donations.

I got a call from them last night, 6:32pm 11 Oct 08.  I picked up and no answer.  It sounded like someone was on the line not the usual computerized telemarketer disconnect.  I hung up and no call back.

We give to Big Brothers so it must have been a mistake on their part.   Strange thing is I "reverse phone" Canada 411`d it.... and there is no listing.  You would think a charitable organization like that would have 1) listed as Big Bro on the call display and 2) listed on Canada 411.

Wow guys calm down. Big Brothers is a CHARITY.  Non-profit. They help kids in your community without a positive influence in their life get a menor. They don't ask for money, they ask for used clothing or small household items that you don't need anymore. What you DONATE to them gets sold to Value Village and proceeds from that go towards their many mentoring programs. They aren't forcing you to donate anything. You say no, they say thanks for your time. 30 seconds tops. Nobody spends time with their family anyways. You spend dinner time in front of the tv texting and not talking with each other. Why do you say it's interrupting family time? They don't have the funds to upgrade their system because the proceeds they get go into their mentoring programs and fundraisers, which costs money. If you don't want to be called, ask to be taken off the list. If they call back, call them back. It's a legit number. Or just ignore the calls, they leave a message. You're the one answering the phone. What a bunch of hypochondriacts.
