I've also been getting calls from him too at my office! weird...

Tammie

His name is Chris Lesh working with Primerica Canada. He calls from (604) 525-7023, but leaves a call back # of (604) 710-7149. It's a good company. I used to work with him actually.  Nice guy.  However, be forewarned that he calls A LOT of people. His role is to find quality people for the expansion of the Primerica offices. It won't matter how nice or descent a person he his or the company is, since it's inevitable that he's going to run into people who are overly skeptical or irritated by the smallest things when he's going through numbers that massive!

I wonder if the information on the internet is monitored:

And these big companies may have pretty good filters!

Well, that research took a total of 10 minutes and for some reason I'm still not adverse to doing business or working with any one of them.

Coquitlam

Had the same call to my company.  The guy who identified himself as Chris as well asked me if I'm open to work opportunities as a customer service.  After a brief conversation, he asked me to go to his company to have a look and understand more about his business.  In the end of the conversation, I asked him where he got my phone number, he said he called my office a few days ago and liked my phone manner!  The whole thing sound unusual and weird.

Yeah right it's the competition posting about how bad Primerica is... they make you pimp out your friends and family during what they call your training.  After all you won't know what Primerica has to offer until they've trained you.  They believe the only way to train you is for them to sell to your friends and family while you watch and learn... fair enough...what's my commision? $0, my recuiter laughed at me and said I'm not going to train you for free (why the hell not I thought this corperate structure was predicated around teamwork not exploitation) Hi, I'm writing to inform you of the negative experience I had with Primerica.  I live in Surrey, BC and was dealing with a branch in Coquitlam, BC.  My recruiter told me about the $100,000.00 club and was showing me the ring you get for making it while he was wearing it at the same time telling me how he had only been working full-time 6 months.  I was told the company would pay for me to take a $900 course that certifies people to sell mutual funds once I made District Manager.  He also told me they were a member of citigroup (increasing its legitimacy ten fold).  The day after I signed I was told it wasn't his ring but someone else's (blatant deception) and found out on my own that Primerica doesn't pay for the course but reimburses you and only after you've been there a year (BS).  He said he never told me the ring was his to which I replied that it was extremely deceptive, he then said aren't you an adult? They don't care about sales, I was told to just focus on  building my team... had I have done that I would have been spreading the same lies that my recruiter gave me about the mutual fund course, which was 95% of the reason I signed on.  That would have made me a liar and pisses me off.

I agree with what others have said here. Got a call from this number (778) 847-6086) as well. Couldn't talk at the time when he called as I was busy, but arranged to call him back. I'd sent out a few resume's in the the previous week (in the industry I want to work in) so I thought it was a call-back from one of them Decided to google his number since I only had his name and not the company and found this link here as well as a few others. Figured I'd call him back just to make sure, and yep, told me right off that he's with Primerica and that he got my info from Monster. There's NOTHING in my resume that even hints at wanting to work in finances, so I told him no and ended the call fairly quickly.
