Had the same call to my company. The guy who identified himself as Chris as well asked me if I'm open to work opportunities as a customer service. After a brief conversation, he asked me to go to his company to have a look and understand more about his business. In the end of the conversation, I asked him where he got my phone number, he said he called my office a few days ago and liked my phone manner! The whole thing sound unusual and weird.

I agree with what others have said here. Got a call from this number (778) 847-6086) as well. Couldn't talk at the time when he called as I was busy, but arranged to call him back. I'd sent out a few resume's in the the previous week (in the industry I want to work in) so I thought it was a call-back from one of them Decided to google his number since I only had his name and not the company and found this link here as well as a few others. Figured I'd call him back just to make sure, and yep, told me right off that he's with Primerica and that he got my info from Monster. There's NOTHING in my resume that even hints at wanting to work in finances, so I told him no and ended the call fairly quickly.

Yup. I got the same call. I know exactly what's going on. I'm a client of Primerica. It's a GOOD company. They've done a lot more for my financial situation than any bank would ever do! I was introduced to the part-time opportunity a while back. I don't agree with the way they hire people though. It's self employment so they have the choice of finding people through word of mouth, getting referrals by talking to friends and family and putting the word out that way, advertising, calling resumes, talking to strangers (like Investors Group), knocking on doors (like Edward Jones), cold calling, and/or... They can take their pick. In this case, our friend(?) has chosen cold calling as his modus operandi. Not breaking any rules. It's just not something that I approve of.www.primerica.comwww.citigroup.com (their parent company)
