Try using BLOCK Calls--How to block the ruddy calls---*60-then-#key (Tel#of call to block), then #key again-press 1 or 3 to activate. It usually works for me.
(2)--Don't hang up---press*60, then stay on line , an operator should come on the line
Tell the person "I want to BLOCK THE LAST NUMBER", then press 01 +the number. This came from Telus , tome. Good Luck

Credit card a**hole!

Getting sick and tired of my phone number being dispensed like pez. I paid for an unlisted number to avoid and evade this BS. Identity theft is so rampant nowadays and you are constantly being warned to protect your personal information. Yet every time you turn around someone is asking for your home phone number or address, why? The last time I went for an oil change the service technician asked me for a hockey sock full of of information. I refused and asked him why it was even necessary? He said it was for tracking and records etc. I basically told him to change the damn oil, take my money and be done with this transaction. With regards to tracking, just put the stupid plastic sticker on the inner top left corner of my windshield and I'll keep track myself. Seriously, it's such a simple transaction yet it seems like you're signing a damn mortgage contract. Enough already. I'm done here. Thanks for the opportunity to rant. Stay classy.

Call annnoying won't connect to supervisor, can't call back to me remove or speak to someone. No such number is the answer. Ask to be remove and still calling. Please leave me alone I carry no balance on my credits ever!!!

call from this number claimed to be Card Services, working on behalf of all major Canadian banks. Caller said name was Maxwell. There were other voices in the background. Very obstinate caller, would not connect me to supervisor. My bank says they do not hire such a company for their credit cards. SCAM alert!

Returned phone call to be told by a recorded voice that the number is not in service

Received call and let it go to voicemail with no message being left.

I got a call from these guys today "Good Friday".  I had tons of fun with them.  The guy had a very thick middle eastern accent and wanted to talk to me about my Mastercard.  When I said I did not have a Mastercard he said that I heard him wrong and then said Visa.  I asked which Visa he was talking about and he said RBC.  I let him know that I did not have a Visa through RBC and again he said I did not hear him right and it was a CIBC Visa.  I again told him I did not have a CIBC card so he again told me I did not hear him right and then said it was TD.  I now informed this person that he was really bad at this whole scam credit card stuff and even he started to laugh and then hang up.  The call took over 5 minutes and I enjoyed ever second.  I got mad in the past when these guys called me but now I can?t wait to given them a rough time.  If you have the time, please stay on the phone as long as you can, it may save someone from falling for their BS while you waste their time.

We were called by this number, the person speaking had an Asian / oriental sounding accent. Told us he could lower the interest rate on our credit card and asked for the number. We were suspicious and called the RBC Visa who told us they had not called us and that it was a scam. Do not give your information to anyone who calls you, especially where it does not state the caller's name. If it is the bank they will display their name and leave a message.

Complete BS why these guys are allowed to do this. I never EVER answer a call from a number I don't know. Yes, this is a BC area code, and I do have friends and family in BC...but if it's important they'll leave a message. I think what ticks me off the most about these guys is that they take advantage of the elderly who are naive and don't know any better. How many 65+ people are getting scammed? Despicable!
