I got the same call...and confrimed it was Telus. Coincidentally I too had switched a few months ag to Shaw.
If you call 1 +1 800-567-0000, and then 1 at each message you receive, I think it was about 3, then you will get connected to a Telus rep.
Tell them what you think of this practise.

I cancelled my Telus phone and Internet a couple weeks ago. I have been getting calls from Telus everyday asking if I am happy with my telus service. It took me six months to get them to stop billing me for Domain Hosting which I cancelled.. They even gave me a new account number and starting billing me for the Domain Hosting after I canncelled my phone.This company has gotten so big that it's right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!

The phone calls are getting on my nerves!

There must be a law or regulations to stop them! What shall I do?

I tried being nice to them, but they don't care. They don't remove you from any list, even after they say they will. Now when I get calls from them, i play with them. One time I had them believing they called 911 by accident. The other day some women called, she was grumpy as hell so I had a little fun. When she asked what tv channels I watch, I said I only watch the porn channel. When she asked if I would use a hdvr to record, I said "no, I like it live".. I wanted to laugh so hard. Today, they called again! I put him on speaker so I could continue to work (I work at home on the computer).. I had him going for half an hour. He started out annoying so I played with him a bit, but he turned out to be a nice guy so I let him off easy and pretended like I was interested but would need to think about it and discuss it with the wife.

Heavily accented outsourced Telus operatives are STILL using this number to call and harass people on their service. ?They just want to squeeze more $$$ out of you by urging that their package deals are "more for your money".  I have asked many times for them to STOP CALLING ME and they still call me 3+ times a day.  I have NEVER had this problem before with Telus in my 6+ years of having their service... something is very suspicious about this.
