Man with bad accent called from this #, asked for me by full name, then advised me that as I had been paying my phone bill on time that my exchange co (phone co?) had chosen me to lower my phone rates.  Asked what co he was calling from and he mumbled a name I have never heard of, and said he was calling from Oshawa, Ont, Canada.  I advised him I wasn't going to buy anything, also advised him that legally he had to id his co name @ the beginning of the call,and to put on a do-not-call list.Calling the phone co and the police as this male seemed to be familiar with my billing history.

I have been contacted several times. Same as all of the above. Been researching this and found it to be a spoofed phone number or at least that last site I was on showed that to be the case. Be careful of the scammer. They capture iPhone data. People don't answer this from the Data technology up to date phones. Sprint, Apple, Verizon and any of the smart phones. Just don't let your curiosity get the best of you. ID theft is the largest threat of smart phones.

calls all day long and hangs up upon answering very harassing and uses my minutes

No message was left when called received 3/5/2012 at 7:52AM.

They left a message on my office line.  The call was from an Indian market research firm, looking for outsourcing work.  Presumably so they can make more calls and annoy y'all.
