Yup, an automated msg explains to me I've just $2600 travel dollars.  I did not press "1" to claim them.  Now...if they had $2600 shekels to offer, well THEN I might be interested ;)

I received a call from (519) 999-8686 and when I answered nobody said a word then hung up.

Unlike a great deal of the people who have posted on this, I have a pair of balls(how much courage does it take to hit 1 and see wtf the score is...seriously) and it was some asian guy on the other line. I asked him how they got my phone number and he wished me a good weekend, disconnected and I heard an automated message tell me that I had been added to a do not call list. All of that info just by actually hitting the number 1 on my phone. How paranoid are you f****? Not hitting a number to see what the scam peoples' pitch is? You think a gorilla is going to crash through your window and a** rape you? Maybe your phone will explode? Media.

Got a call too. Didn't pick up. No message.

The National Do Not Call lists are only for reputable Canadian telemarketers calling in Canada and the reputable telemarketers calling in the States. The Do Not Call lists don't apply to cross border calling and definately not to these scumbag scammers.
