When I said hello they hung up. Called back and after six rings they picked up and hung up, Called back again and let it ring to hell, over two dozen times before they picked up and hung up. I called them right back - busy signal (519) 964-0072

I too received a call. I wasn't home at the time but thanks to all of your posts I will be in touch with my local police and Make them aware.Unfortunately I live in a retirement community and I can see a lot of the elderly in our community being taken by these heartless, schisters. They call pretending to be doing a survey about asthma, allergies, and air quality.  Then they call the next day claiming you have been selected to win a gift basket and insist upon delivering it when you and your spouse are both home.  I did some research on them - turns out this whole survey and gift basket thing is a ploy to get you to let them in to your house so they can try and sell you their expensive air filtration system.

I just had a call from P.A Care same story as everyone else, wanting to do survey, I wasnt thinking or i would of said no, I figured I would answer the questions since there were only a few. It was on allergies, If i smoked, what my  job was? do I live here alone? any pets? the phone number they used was (519) 964-0072. Once I hung up I got to thinking about It and looked them up online to make sure they were a ligitimate company, I came across many complaints. I hope they dont come and try and break into my house.
Has there been any investigation done on these people, they could be part of a break in scheme? wanting to know If i had any dogs or If i live alone, Im kind of nervous now that I said I was retired and had no dog?

My wife received a phone call from (519) 963-0757 just after 5:00pm while she was trying to put together supper and told them she was too busy doing supper to talk to them.  The guy on the other end stated, "Is everyone having supper now?"  My wife replied, "In this household they are!"  The other person immediately hung up.  My wife thought this was rude, so she called back asking to speak to a manager.  A female voice on the other end immediately replied, "Oh, I'm sorry, we're all having supper."  and hung up on my wife.  This infuriated my wife.  Something has to be done about these people!

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 --- We live two hours east of Toronto.  Just received a call at 2:30 pm EST this afternoon from a young man claiming to be "Dave" from P.A. Care. Asked if I was Mrs ..... Didn't confirm whether or not I was, but when I asked him who he was and what he was calling about, he said he was conducting a 20 second survey. When I said no thank you and to take our phone number off of their calling list, he muttered something under his breath and hung up. I've forwarded the complaints from this website along with those from other complaint sites to the London, Ontario police and to Bell Canada. I don't know if London has a Better Business Bureau, but I'll cc a copy to them as well. Apparently P.A. Care has already been cited on one such BBB website with complaints -- google BBB and P.A. Care possibly known under the name of "Platinum Air Care" and "Pulmonary Air Association" in London, Ontario. We have call display -- our call came from (519) 964-0071.  I wonder if these are persons who're calling using their own home phones. There are a number of different numbers cited on various complaint sites on the Internet from using 519-area and the supposed "surveyors" have names such as Dave, Derrick, Valerie, and John, etc.
