I will have to stand up for the FBC. My family has been members with FBC for 20+ years and have nothing but great things to say about FBC. They have on more then one occasion represented our business at a audit with Canada Revenue and saved us and our business alot of money.  They have always done everything they promised to do and more.

You should a really hard look at a business before you make a accusation based on a 3 minute phone call or a 1 minute glance at a website.

Just got a call and added them to my call block.  "She said we are a specialized income tax service".  I said I am not interested.  She wouldn't give up.  It went downhill from there.  You could tell from all the background noise that she was in a phone room with a bunch of other people.

Only reason I answered is because it was not an 8xx number and had a CID which often means it's legit.  No unsolicitied calls for random services I am not looking for that may or may not be on the up and up are legit as far as I'm concerned.

I used to cold call for fbc. I hated how aggressive some co workers were.  I could never be that aggressive and I always respected the voice on the other end of the phone. After all, I was calling these businesses out of  the blue! I agree these cold callers are just making a living but geez - quit being so aggressive. Have some respect for the business owner you're attempting to reach. In the end FBC's service is really expensive. They are offering an accounting service for farms and businesses that gross up to 5 million and guess what?- they don't have any accountants that work them, and I mean 0 accountants. They train Certified Tax Consultants in about 3 weeks and then try and tell business owners that they are better than CA's because they are forced to do more training several times per year!! That's laughable to me!!  If you are a receptionist and you want them to stop calling just tell the cold caller that you are a partner in the business and ask them to put your company on the do not call list. As a side note to all the "business owners" who claim that FBC is so rude...It starts by the way you answer the call, when it comes down to it, we are just people trying to make a living, just like you.   You need to realize that those are the types of actions that gain companies 'bad reputations'   Do not be so quick to judge, because we offer a valuable service, and at least have the courtesy to hear us out, and let us know in a professional manner, that you are not interested.   Thanks

Anytime someone asks for the "the big boss" they are a telemarketer of some sort. I like the people trying to defend this business saying "its a really good company don't bash it".... if it was a really good company then they wouldn't need to be calling a million numbers a day looking for business, people should be coming to them. Good luck getting through to the big boss man... Get a real job.
