The suspects are telling people that they are owed money by a utility company and then they are requesting the victim's bank account information.These phone calls have been traced back to phone number (519) 858-1931. Due to phone number portability issues this phone number cannot be traced to the suspects nor can it be placed out of order.You are reminded not to give out any personal information over the phone unless you are sure that you are speaking with a trusted source.Anyone who may have information in relation to this scam, or the person or people associated to this phone number, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or the London Police Service at 661-5670.

i just got a call from this number too. at 9:28pm.  i called it back after reading some of these postings, the time was 9:43...i got the number is not in service, so they must be hijacking a number and routing their calls through it.

So i decided to try and send a text message to tell them to stop calling my number and I got a message in return that states "Your message will be sent to landline phone number (519) 858-1931. Pour envoyer message en francais au 519-858-1931, repondez F a ce message."

The french part says that 'if you would like to send the message in french, respond with the letter F to the message.'

I had recieved a phone call from someone asking if i had placed an order with rogers for an iphone4

Had a call from this number at 3:41am in the dead of night. ?No one was on the line when I answered it.   Glad to see I am not the only one but don't understand why it can't be traced.  Looks like a cell phone number throught Rogers as out cell phone has the 858 number preceeding our home phone number.

I got a call from this number, I answered and said hello several times and then it went from dead air to a dial tone.
