This guy just called me and told me he was from windows computers , lol Microsoft never calls you out the blue like that its a scam there want old people so the can take there money . I've tried calling RCMP I have no tone 9/28/12 time 12:23 some on need to get this guy

Called today at lunch on my cell. Saying they would give a great deal on Bell something or other. Same idea that you could hear a lot of other things going on in the background and the person barely spoke English. It's an interesting way to use Skype for crank calls ... I'm just going to block the number.

I had my phone transfered to my moms house, my brother answered not knowing it was and the guy asked for my husband, funny thing there is no way he could call on our internet number its unlisted and not given to anyone, the guy told me is this man "Gerry Mood" (name changed for privacy)  a minor? I asked what this was in regards to? He told me it was for information my husband requested. He finally told me, I wasn't worth it.  So I told him the same.  Wouldn't tell me who he was only that he is Gary Cote.(519) 772-1785

Same thing here, except I was not home, so their recording messages plus music took place on my answering machine for 3 long minutes...  Enough is enough! And I am on the "famous" list...

Allstream is an alternate phone line provider to Bell. Many businesses have changed to Allstream as they are not as expensive as Bell. I too checked out the number and it is Kitchener based using Allstream. 3 times yesterday our business line had a message from this number that said we were in a hold sequence and the ninth caller on the list. When I call the number back to ask them not to call anymore I get a busy signal. Sure would be nice to know who they are.

This number is the generic number for ALL VOIP PROVIDERS... Let me make that clear, ALL VOIP PROVIDERS, when CID cannot be passed through. Yes, it's still a bit odd that not even their BTN number would show up but some of the cheaper ones don't use premium routes to keep costs down and therefore sacrifice some versatility of the CID function.

Yet what is better, Caller ID, or not paying for phone service...

I got call in the same way many of us got.There were no one who want to say a word?
It is beyond my understanding,why do people mis-use the essential service in this way?
