incoming call was dropped when answering machine was activated. how did they get my nbr, i am unlisted and living in secrecy in tsawwassen bc

I am unlisted too and they asked for me by name. ?Someone must have sold them my info

got a call from this #, they rang til vmail, then hung up. anoying

i did a search and all i can find is Bell in London Ontario

Well, not so much in secrecy any more. :(I used to wonder how these spammy companies got my unlisted number, too, but I've since learned that computers spit out lists of numbers and companies buy them, so having an unlisted number really isn't a defence against them.I finally decided to get call display on my phone and now I don't answer unless I recognize the number. If someone wants to talk to me, they'll leave a voice mail. Otherwise ... too bad. The call display is really worth the cost.
