This appeared on my Bell bill in January, called Bell and was told that I had made the call to this # (905) 555-1212 which was not the case.Dialed the number today and auto reply was "the number you have called is long distance". Looks like a scam but try telling Bell that!!

HAve been charged for $4.51 for a minute with this number on my bill. says on ?the bill: Directory Assistance LEVENDO. WHAT IS LEVENDO??? if i use directory assistance it only says directory assistance on the bill but there is the word LEVENDO??? does anyone know anything about this company????

It is true that XXX-555-1212 is a directory service, where XXX is the area code.  This is a universal number, i.e. every city in NA will have the same number. E.g. in GTA, it is (416) 555-1212. In Greensburg PA 812-555-1212. In Torrance, NM 505-555-1212.  In Vancouver (604) 555-1212...

i was billing from this LEVENDO too, WHO is this LEVENDO? can i ask Bell charge back to it?
