First I was told by automated voice that I had won 100,000 air miles! Wow! Then transferred to a fast-talking salesman who identified himself as just "Mike", from what sounded like "Sunset Group", who told me about two vacations I could get for just $698 US. He said it was a $3,298 US value package for just $698 US. Said the two holidays had to be taken within 2.5 years and were for 2 adults and two kids. One vacation in Cancun, Mexico, (6 days, 5 nights), the other in Orlando, Florida, (5 days). He invited me to look at www.cancuncalling.com but said I could not access the offer on line, IT HAD TO BE DONE BY THE END OF THE PHONE CALL! He asked what credit card I had and that's when I decided to terminate the conversation. Scam!

Just got a call from (519) 516-9898. Automated message saying i'm a Bell valued customer and I won $3000, press 1 to accept.

this is reply i got from bell canada pls read it Thank you for your letter regarding a caller representing themselves as Bell Canada. This was not a call from Bell. Many cellular customers from various companies are being called and told that very same thing. When you press ?1? to collect the travel dollars ?you won?, it connects you to a person who then attempts to extract personal information from you.It is just another form of social engineering that the criminal world has come up with. The best advice I can give is to do exactly what you did?hang up.We take this very seriously and our Corporate Security group is currently investigating the situation. Regards, Ed Bell Canada Loss Prevention
