I got a call from Absolute Quality just now and when I told the guy that we are on the no call list, he proceeded to reply with "I want to f#@k you".  Sadly, we do not have call display so I couldn't say if the call came in as private or not.  Needless to say, I am pretty pissed.

I have been receiving numerous calls from a company claiming that they are duct cleaning business.  There phone numbers never appears listed (not available).  I have repeatedly told them not to call and they continuously call me. Firstly he has a very thick accent which is so hard to understand.  I have asked him in several occasions what the company name is.  He mentioned that this business is in operation for 13 years.  I am getting so annoyed.  I have placed my number in the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Obviously it isn't working for me.  What can I do?

There is a mechanism to register complaints with the do not call list folks in Ottawa, the CRTC handles complaints.  I`ve registered a complaint and there was follow up by CRTC and they even notified me when they got a conviction.  I just received a call from Absolute Quality Home Services they tell me they are out of CAmbridge, they offered duct cleaning at 1/2 of the regular price of $260 includes sanitization and cold air return cleaning.  Obviously they don`t adhere to the DNCL.  I`ll be lodging another complaint with the CRTC.

Received a call today from Absolute Quality Home Service for duct cleaning, they claim to be in Whitby.  I had to ask the caller the name of the company 3 times as he spoke so fast and with a very heavy accent, I asked him where in Whitby the company was and he would only say they are in Whitby.  When I asked for the company phone # the caller started getting irritated and then hung up on me.  THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE QUALITY HOME SERVICE in Whitby.I received this call on a Sunday afternoon; is it not against the law to do telemarketing on Sunday??
