I just got the same call. Then they said this only pertains to me if I have more than 3 employees. I said I didn't. They said, so you're the sole owner and operator? I said yes. They said okay thanks and hung up. It all left me with an uneasy feeling (mostly because they called my home line and not my business line) which is why I searched the number...but what was the point in the call? They sounded odd but didn't try to get me to do anything...anyways, thought I would write this for prosperity in case they do try to screw me somehow:)

The call came in, and I answered as usual. I like to check hang up calls out on the net, to see if others have experienced issues. I was relieved to find so many listed here, regarding (519) 453-9590.

An other call that hangs up when you answer. Is there anybody in this world that could put a stop
to these calls.

I just got a call from this (519) 453-9590. It is not the first time they call my office and pretending to be a government department. Last time I told them on the phone, "You can send me anything you want but I am not giving you money." They hung up.

Just received a call from this company - Canadian Labor Compliance Agency. She said her name was Bernice. Said she had no phone number to give to me as it was an outgoing number only and she couldn't give me an email address. The phone number that came up on my call display was (519) 453-9590. She asked me if I was aware of the new labor laws as it pertains to WHMIS.

Scammers! They go by the name of Canadian Compliance Agency as well as eWHMIS. They sound like an official agency and use high pressure tactics to try and scare you into buying their 'product'. Hang up on 'em!

Received call from caller requesting if calling to residence or business, then hang up saying it was error call...

Received a call on Feb.15th and when I answered I could hear voices in the background but no one spoke to me, they just hung up. This business can be easily researched on the BBB website or do a Google search for Canadian Labour Compliance Agency and the read the BBB results showing over 195 complaints lodged against this scam business 22 of which have not been resolved and they invoice people for information they did not even send out. If you receive an e-mail from them, do not open any of the attachments, simply mark it as junk and delete. If you open it, they MAY say you received their information even though you did not even ask for it. Caution!

why doesnt some organization throw these scammers in jail where they belong

No Caller ID, official sounding as from a gov. department but a scam, it gave me a few seconds ponding and wondering as if I cut off some one from official. Don't be fooled and waste time with it.

Just received a call asking for the person in charge of WHMIS and also how many employees we had. Very upset that so much time wasted on handling this type of calls. Hope something could be done to stop these people from disturbing others.

Tiffany asked how many employees, if we had a harassment policy and WHMIS training.
Told her we are a member of CFIB, she only asked for a first name.
