Yeah...just got the call from this same company, guy had an accent was somewhat difficult to understand. The usual pressure to save money on hydro. I said no, they became insistent so I asked for the company name - Hydro Power - and asked for e-mail address - savehydropower.com - and the number (514) 907-7451. Looked up the address and here is all the scam info....thanks! Glad I listened to my gut instincts. I did ask how he got my hydro bill to begin with and he replied "from the federal government".

He was quite the idiot who called me. I asked for a manager right away, and said he'd get him. In under 5 seconds the guy came back on the line and changed his tone a bit saying he was the manaher! I told him about the do not call list and that what he was doing was illegal. Then he asked to talk to my wife, so I said theres no reason to talk to my wife. He responded with "So I can f%$# your wife". I was pretty shocked and couldnt get a word in before he hung up. I guess if people become smart enough not to buy into these scams they'll stop happening!

I got the scam call from them today too. Came from a blocked number, but same situation as above comments. I requested company info and they directed me here:

All of above people wrong!I also received that call from HYDRO POWER SAVER,But you can believe that i m saving every month 40 to 60 $ by putting this devices and one more thing there is no any SCAM! I mam going to order ONE more BY that saving for more saving!!!!
