I just got a call from Hydro Power. I had a heck of a time understanding what he was saying to me. They spoke extremely fast and big time accent! Finally I understood that it was a device to help us save on our electrical bill. They kept repeating that I was chosen because I paid high electrical bills and I was part of a federal program to help people lower their bill by 40%. I started with a rep, Dominic Salvador,then switched to senior manager then off to the dispatch department and spoke to a Kevin. All along I asked if this device was sent first and then get billed later..they always said yes. But the dispatcher said he needed a credit number to secure the device, thats when I had a gut feeling it may be a scam. So I said I had no credit card. End of story!

Just got the call telling me my hydro bill was high and that government was offering this device to cut hydro by 40%. I ask him if they had a web site and he gave me this one here and i ask him for phone number and its the same one mentioned here.I was curious about this device so i wanted to see it and im glad i did cause i got to read all your comments , its a total SCAM.

Yes, they are fake. God saved me from this man. These people are mainly from Pakistan.

Just to be clear....The Federal Government would have to supoena the power company to get a copy of your bill.

Got a call from the same people less than a hour ago. Blocked number but when I asked for info so that I could do research he gave me savehydropower and the same phone number as above where I could call back. I didn't bother to call the number. Something was telling me it was some kind of a scam. Said I would save 40% on my power bill. When I asked how he knew how much my power bill was he said that he'd gotten a copy from the federal government. Beware people! I am wondering how many poor people are being ripped off by these guys.
