Read the comments people! It's a legitimate number for long distance calls. To call my friend, i call that number and press in HER number, and it's free for me because she's on the plan (as she commutes she doesn't want her friends to have to pay long distance just to call her). The company is Distributel, and it's a legitimate company. Some 'bad people', though, as we can see, can use it illegitimately. Distributel should be notified about strange calls from people trying to get personal information so that maybe they can track the calls and alert the proper authorities for the mis-use of their service.

J'ai reçu des appels de ce numéro sur mon cellulaire et mon téléphone de maison. Je n'ai pas répondu et ils n'ont pas laissé de messages.

we were called and immediately asked (in French) if anyone had an allergies in our household, the caller did not identify themselves. We asked who was calling and what was the nature of the survey. The caller fadingly said "Santé Plus" and then hung up. The last caller feature on the phone identified the number as (514) 877-5000. Seems very strange to me.

C'est un numéro distributel.  Quelqu'un qui appelle par interurbain.On ne sait pas qui a réellement appelé.  Utilisable pour emmerder les autres,pour du télémarketing ou bien pour appeler un ami à moindres frais.

La personne c'est passer pour l'Industriel Alliance. Elle cherche des renseignements confidentiel. Je ne lui donne pas et elle raccroche. ATTENTION à vos renseignements personnels.
